ROBOTS IN OUR LIFE

In this globalization era, people are adapting technology at a fast pace all over the world. The development of this technology led to the creation of robots that can take over human tasks. Through this statement, do you agree that the creation of robots will completely take over human tasks?

Through this statement, it is difficult to determine whether to agree or disagree with the statement above because there are advantages and disadvantages of using robots in everyday life. First, we agree that robots will take over humans because robots will supersede human beings for very heavy work in the future. For example, there are some jobs that involve skyscrapers such as cleaning the mirrors of the Burj Khalifa, which is one of the tallest buildings in the world. This clearly proves that robots can reduce the risk of accidents that will happen to humans.

Secondly, robots can also help humans in the medical field. For example, doctors use robots to perform microsurgery to remove cancer cells. This surgery has a high safety rate due to the programming system that has been set to make the robot more efficient in doing the job. It is clear that robots can reduce failures in surgical operations.

At the same we disagree with the statement that the creation of robots will take over human tasks completely because it will increase the unemployment rate. For example, the use of robots in a job makes it easier to manage work that is usually done by humans. This is because robots do not need welfare as humans do. It is clear that the use of robots in an industry increases the rate of human unemployment.

Daniel H. Wilson once said, “personally, I’m not afraid of a robot uprising. The benefits far outweigh the threats”. To summarize, robots help a lot to ease the burden on humans but cannot overcome the human mind because robots are also the result of human creation.
